I don't use C++, but there should be code similar to the Microsoft example:
C#
backgroundWorker1.DoWork += new DoWorkEventHandler(backgroundWorker1_DoWork);
backgroundWorker1.RunWorkerCompleted += new RunWorkerCompletedEventHandler(backgroundWorker1_RunWorkerCompleted);
backgroundWorker1.ProgressChanged += new ProgressChangedEventHandler(backgroundWorker1_ProgressChanged);
I believe for C++/CLI, it would be something like:
C++
backgroundWorker1->DoWork += gcnew DoWorkEventHandler(this, &backgroundWorker1_DoWork);
