1. The lounge is for the CodeProject community to discuss things of interest to the community, and as a place for the whole community to participate. It is, first and foremost, a respectful meeting and discussion area for those wishing to discuss the life of a Software developer.
The #1 rule is: Be respectful of others, of the site, and of the community as a whole.
2. Technical discussions are welcome, but if you need specific programming question answered please use Quick Answers[^], or to discussion your programming problem in depth use the programming forums[^]. We encourage technical discussion, but this is a general discussion forum, not a programming Q&A forum. Posts will be moved or deleted if they fit better elsewhere.
3. No sys-admin, networking, "how do I setup XYZ" questions. For those use the SysAdmin[^] or Hardware and Devices[^] forums.
4. No politics (including enviro-politics[^]), no sex, no religion. This is a community for software development. There are plenty of other sites that are far more appropriate for these discussions.
5. Nothing Not Safe For Work, nothing you would not want your wife/husband, your girlfriend/boyfriend, your mother or your kid sister seeing on your screen.
6. Any personal attacks, any spam, any advertising, any trolling, or any abuse of the rules will result in your account being removed.
7. Not everyone's first language is English. Be understanding.
Please respect the community and respect each other. We are of many cultures so remember that. Don't assume others understand you are joking, don't belittle anyone for taking offense or being thin skinned.
We are a community for software developers. Leave the egos at the door.
cheers,
Chris Maunder

Well, we now have a diagnosis: cardiopulmonary embolism. Thankfully this clot is in a prime location to be easily extracted. She's going to be seeing a Hematologist later today to determine the best course of action.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

We're caring for our daughter's and son-in-law's dog Mishka while they take their (Covid belated) honeymoon to Maldives. She (the dog) is one, full of energy and constantly pestering our own dog Grizzly who is almost 9 and values long naps.
It is going to be a noisy couple weeks!

we pretty much have my son's dog now 4 that is an Aussie Cattle Dog fulltime. Our own Dog a lap dog, fluffy, likes a 2 block walk once a day maybe. He is 14. The fluff ball and I understand each other and get along really well.
IF you know about Australian Cattle Dogs(acd) you know they are happiest when they are running. It is a fulltime job just throwing the ball for the acd. We do this for hours each day. watching TV just chucking the ball across the house. He is very well trained but NEEDS to run.
the older dog lets him know loudly when he gets in his way. Funny how the small white fluff ball pushes the younger dog around.
I love dogs all dogs, but,
It can make for a long evening sometimes.
To err is human to really elephant it up you need a computer

We have a Shepsky (German Sheperd Dog and Husky mix) and are seriously thinking about getting at least one.
I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.

Could be worse - at least it's not a double-decker dog[^].
Warning: Maybe NSFW, due to the extensive Australian language used.

Have always liked KBW, and that's one of his few songs that could almost be played on the radio.

Unlike "Livin' next door to Alan", or "Nigel Krap", or "Don't touch your sister", or ... most of it to be honest.

Up until this post, I wasn't aware that he was known outside the Land Of Oz.

There were bootleg cassette tapes doing the rounds back when I was in school. I even went to see him in Brighton when I was about 13.

On one of his many "last ever UK tours", he was supported by his daughter, who performs under the name Jenny Talia[^].

I'd never heard of her - but YouTube has one of her sweet little songs: FOCUS - which I think is going to enter my vocabulary as a cryptic reply to morons ... I won't post a link, there is no way that is SFW!

And yet somehow still not as rude as I was expecting from a member of the Wilson clan.

Two headed.
Six legged.
Double Decker Dog!
Probably needs a "may be NSFW" given some of the language - depends on your net nazis, but KBW is rarely SFW for one reason or another!
