Are you reading the code in Notepad? Simply right-click the path of the binding and select "Go To Declaration". Also, the value in the DataContext property is a dead giveaway, too.

I am reading code in VS but my mouse's right click does not always work. Or maybe it is me that the right click interrupts my thoughts.
So many years of programming I have forgotten more languages than I know.

This is the case in general with event code -- spooky action at a distance. Easy to write, easy to understand if you don't think too hard, but a PITA if it breaks and you have to debug it. That's the very definition of spaghetti code that I've come to over the years, so yeah, binding code is spaghetti.

This morning, once I actually managed to haul my ass out of bed, went across to the desk, opened the laptop and touched the mouse.....and for the first time, it gave a single red blink on the top led. So, could all the problems just relate to low battery????
When I have had low battery with this mouse (Logitech M705) in the past, the red light can blink for weeks without any issues.
Now, I checked the batteries in the hotel TV remote control, but they were unfortunately AAA, and the mouse uses 2xAA. I couldn't just order AA batteries off of Talabat for delivery, so obliged by ordering some peanut M&Ms to go with them.
They duly arrived about 30 minutes later, put them in the mouse and bingo, no more issues!
I'm guessing that the batteries were so low, it was tx garbage to the laptop and it even struggled to report a low battery and catching the glimpse of the single red flash this morning was just luck!
EDIT: Spoke to soon, its just done it again, FFS.....

Logitech's cheapo proprietary wireless protocols and the drivers that go with them are trash.
I trust them about as much as I trust Windows 3.1. Just sayin.
I'm not sure if their bluetooth offerings are decent or not because I've avoided buying them.

Surprised at that.... I've used logitech for years. This one is my travel one and probably over 6 years old, my desktop one lasted lasted for what seemed an eternity (can't remember which model it was), and only replaced it because I wanted to get rid of the charging dock off my desk. I replaced it with a MX Master 2S.

Some of their drivers/devices/protocols are stable and some aren't. They keep making new ones.  Probably planned obsolescence so you can't use another dongle when you inevitably lose the one that goes with it, but i've good luck with some mice, bad luck with others (and one bad keyboard which was what was the last straw for me).
Could be a windows update killed it.
Now that lower power bluetooth exists it might be time to upgrade your mouse.

You're not using Linux by any chance? I hear the drivers that go with it are trash.

That was *part* of my problem with them. I've also had windows updates kill them more than once, which means digging a USB keyboard out of the closet if you're using one of theirs.

I've had zero problems with Logitech mice using their dongles. But Logitech mice using Bluetooth I avoid like the plague.

That's good to know about the bluetooth. You've had better luck with logitech wireless stuff than I have, from the sound of it.

I very rarely felt the need of a wireless mouse / keyboard, and very often swore loudly against them.
If I will ever buy some again I will go with bluetooth, at least they have the advantage of not binding a precious USB port on my laptop - I do embedded work and I rarely use less than 3 ports, saving 2 would help me avoid the use of a finicky hub (some devices also suck with unpowered hubs, yes I'm talking about you Vector VN1611).

My SO has the problem that her cursor will disappear for some time and then reappear a few seconds, to many seconds later. She's asked me diagnose it but I have no idea. Tried new batteries, new mouse and nothing has helped. Her son's building her a new computer so told her to live with it for now.
Don't know what else to try?

I'm sure I had that on my main desktop machine shortly after I had built it. I'm pretty sure it was driver related, and not the mouse driver. I can't remember if it disappeared after a chipset update or a gpu update.

She had a crappy computer that was real dirty so I used canned air and cleaned it up. After that it wouldn't boot so she had a really old crappy machine that we got up and running so she would have something. So I'm not real worried about the mouse problem because the computer she's got now isn't worth getting stressed over.

Can't read the linked item - it is asking for me to allow it to see my Location. Why?
I have never allowed anything to see my location. My PC is a desktop and does not have any location detection on it.
