I no longer object to all of these smart version of anything devices.
The people who buy them are so stupid that any help they can get, even from an air-fryer, will be welcome
That could become a new catch-phrase: so stupid he/she takes advice from an air-fryer.

My pita father-in-law recently changed his home wifi setup after getting a new 5G gateway. There were 62 devices of which 20 or so required a manual operation for the new config. (I suggested renaming the SSID and password on the new router, but a tech from the new provider told him not to ) This included 3 Alexa devices, 3 ring doorbell/cameras, 2 door locks, stove/range, refrigerator, thermostat, garage door opener, iPad, iPhone, Macbook Pro, Surface Pro, toaster, smart things hub, and a couple of TVs...there's some I'm forgetting but you get the idea.
BTW, that new gateway was providing some really impressive throughput numbers: 430Mbps down and 140Mbps up. (and that was hitting a tower 100 miles away)

This is probably why my hot tub does not have a wifi interface. It is the ONLY thing I wish I could control on the way home.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that!

I don't even have a normal air fryer!
Are those things any good?

Why do you want to fry air?

Joke or honest question?
Just in case, FYI, air fryer are cooking implement. Useful for those old fashioned of us who cook our own meal ourselves!

Yeah - some people really don't know what an air-frier does. Personally, I prefer my fried foods to be fried in Crisco.

yes, no, maybe.
It's basically a small convention oven (heat plus circulating air)

And I'm so excited because I have so much work to do and nothing says procrastination better than watching Tim Cook breathlessly talk about power chargers or the new shade of chartreuse for their phone cases.
Ah, technology.
Update: So the iPad Pro is to be the replacement for the Macbook. No one's come out and said it, but with the M1 chip, 2Tb storage, 16Gb RAM, thunderbolt over USB-C: it's a touch-enabled Macbook.
cheers

Is that an oversized tablet or an undersized PC?
