It's not my car - I have a nice modern easy to get into one. Apart from the Aston Martin DB5, I've never been into "movie" cars.

I'm aware it's technical wise a horrible car. But I'm experienced with such strange vehicles. Before 40 years I had a Matra Bagheera and it was horrible too.

I'd say it's more mixed. Certain things about that car were quite innovative.
If anything, I think it's guilty of trying too hard - it came out too clever by half, and many of those innovations turned into headaches.

I forgive this car for any faults and it has many of them. But this car simply fascinates me, just the stainless steel body.
And , I have now worked now for 40 years and have perhaps taken a vacation a maximum of 10 times during this time. Now perhaps I allow myself this extravagance and only out of collector instinct

It's still a lovely car, warts and all.

My neighbour has a Triumf Stag.
I have never seen him drive it.
He still claims though that it's better than the V12 Jag he had before. (could never get the SU-carburetors in sync....)

And even if you are in good shape, you are more likely to get injured and then still have that problem.
Not to mention that many people use their garage as a storage bin. Probably don't want to park that car on the street. So need to clean that garage first.

First you should know that I'm a relative newcomer here. I registered a long time ago, don't even remember why, probably to ask a question, but then life happened and I had other things to do. I became more active only in the last 3 or 4 years and now I got hooked and hang around here, probably more than I should do.
I've come to realize that this is a nice, decent and caring community and that begs the question: how is this possible? I a world full of trolling, hate and blustering, what is the magic sauce that allowed this oasis of respect and gentleness?
Maybe the ones that have been here longer might have a clue. Maybe it's possible to spread that fairy dust in other places? Who knows?

Hamsters, they have a calming affect on people.
I don't know what makes this site different from all the others I've visited but I agree we are a special breed.

Seen in another social media site a few minutes ago:
Simple question - where’s the best place to get a Christmas hamster for 3-4 adults? It doesn’t have to be non vegetarian. Ideally it will have nuts, a basket, cheese and fish and nuts. F&M are good but expensive.
M&S are more expensive than they should be. That provided some good light-hearted banter...
