Took herself to work this morning, and up comes "Reversing not possible, Consult Workshop" - sure enough it won't let me engage reverse. Unfortunately I was in the middle of a three point turn at this point and had a wall in front of me.
And quite a few annoyed people trying to park so they could get to work ... just got off the phone to the dealer I bought it through and mercedes to arrange diagnosis before I start talking "full refund" but the earliest they can look at it will be the 11th of next month.

Get rid, in my experience if things start badly they stay that way. Cars and motorbikes are far too techie these days.

Dunno - that's always an option, but if he's willing to pay Mercedes prices for the diagnosis / repairs, then that's a better option for me as it saves a load of hunting and possibly ending up with one that has the same fault but once the warranty runs out ...
Other than that, it's a lovely car - looks, sounds, and feels low mileage, everything is "right and tight".

That's what you get for buying state-of-the-art German engineering. 
It brings to mind a comparison I once read between Russian T-34s and German Panzers (WWII vintage). The Panzers were technically vastly superior, but needed a fully-equipped trained mechanic to fix the smallest issues. The T-34 could be fixed by a farm boy with a sledgehammer, and often was.
Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.

Sayaka Kanda - 虹色の夏 (Rainbow Summer)[^]
A Japanese track this week!
I'm done playing Tales of Vesperia (well, not done, but anything else would require endless grinding) and I'm looking for a new game to play.
I found the Atelier series, which is apparently pretty popular in Japan with over twenty main games, about 17 spin-offs and plenty of remasters and ports.
It looks great, gets good reviews, but the style looks like its main audience is kawaii Japanese girls, so I'm not sure if it's really my thing.
What is my thing, is the soundtrack, which is great.
This is the opening theme (or so I've been led to believe) and it's been playing on repeat.
Sayaka Kanda is also big in Japan as an actress (in movies and theater) and a singer, but not so big outside.
You may know her from the Kingdom Hearts III soundtrack as well.
Unfortunately she committed suicide in 2021 by jumping off a building at the age of 35 
She may smile down upon us, knowing she's SOTW!

Greetings Kind Regards I have no comment re/ the music instead I only wish to state I do not know how you find time to play sophisticated/advance games as I assume such require considerable duration investment also as for games I am happy playing a simple WhirlyBird the one w/ the Google Doodle Jump Android once daily hoping to increase my high score which I am happy to say is ~250,000
