Not sure you really meant to wonder there... It's almost as Windows vs Mac/Linux/Unix discussion. On one side it's logical and make sense, and then there is other side that is guided by pure faith... Besides - follow the money - fear sells, scared people would spend any money (even at the expense of healthcare, education and basic social services) to get perceived piece of mind even from imaginary problems.

Evening everyone!
I was caught out today, as someone had done a check in, and I knew not of it. I know (and have used) CommitMonitor from the same people as Tortoise SVN, but I'm sure it must be possible on a google phone.
I don't need a full svn client, I'm not doing any check ins or outs, I just want to keep an eye on the repository/ies.
Any recommendations?

If it's anything like the Nintendo DS version its okay. That one was lacking the complexity that makes the desktop games fun though (for me anyways, you may see this as a positive).

The PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 version has more options, but it's still not as complex as the desktop versions. Still it was a pretty good game. The weakness is in the usual spot - diplomacy with the computer AI - they tend to offer junk technology for something that would give them a huge advantage, then declare war when you politely tell them to smeg off...

So I called the Ford dealer accessory manager to discuss the mods I'm going to be making to my Mustang, and the receptionist said, "He's with a guest at the moment".
What happened to "He's with a customer"?
When someone is a "guest", that pretty much they have the run of the place, and can do things like raid the fridge, drink your beer, make fun of your latest stupid redneck trick, and is the guy you hand your beer to before you make a serious bid for the next recipient of the Darwin award.
A "customer" is someone standing there with money, and who expects you to perform a service in a timely manner with little/no messing about.

Seriously, though, why go to the dealership? The Internet is so much better for accessories.
Although, keep in mind, since you have the V6, don't remove the speed limiter. There is a funny video online of the driveshaft destroying a car as the driver exceeds the design speed.

The dealer already had the body kit, and already painted the right color. This saves 2-3 weeks of time (shipping and prep). I don't know where they got the hood, but it was part of the original car purchase. They received the hood yesterday. I get all the rest of my stuff off the web.

The fix for that is replacing the driveshaft ($700 for a one-piece aluminum driveshaft, plus adjustable lower control arms to fix the pinion angle). I'm not planning on exceeding the limited max speed. Funny how the speedo reads 160, as well.
There are other issues with the flywheel coming apart - again, only on cars with the speed limiter removed.
These guys are surprised when the V6 comes apart under racing conditions, and I just sit back and laugh. Kids nowadays have NO CLUE what's required to not only make a car fast, but to make it withstand the stresses placed on the drivetrain and suspension as a result of abusing their cars. They actually argue with me when I tell them to improve their braking systems BEFORE improving the car's performance. Their response - "But the '12 V6 brakes are the same as the '11 GT brakes!"
Well, the '12 GT brakes are bigger, so Ford MUST have recognized a weakness in there somewhere (and event he '12's brakes aren't a sufficient improvement for high performance driving.
