Damn it Marc. Get back to the serious business of endless pointless debates about the awesome new CP look.
Nice article by the way.

You seem to have forgotten some FP thinking at the bottom of your article, the list goes directly from #9 to #10, skipping #0A to #0F.
And you guys donµt dare to answer I should have posted this as a comment of the article, he started it by doing shameless self-advertisement in the Lounge.
Oh, and a damn good article again, Marc.

At first I thought that said donut but then I realized that 'u' was actually a 'μ'. Keyboard layout get changed?

Not at all, the ' got translated to that sign that I don't even have on my keyboard when I posted.

My tuppence worth. Quite like it (an improvement over the previous version). The fluid layout works really well.
However (you all saw that coming), I'd say that the vertical spacing in the messages is slightly too much, IMHO.
Good work though!

IMHO It looks like Microsoft Style, Windows 8, isn't it?
Well done, looks better, new and stylish!

FYI, that's precisely the Metro thing everybody keeps talking about.

Not seen the news over the past few months? Take a look:
http://www.geek.com/articles/geek-pick/microsoft-discontinues-use-of-metro-name-2012083/
No-one is allowed to call it "Metro", it's "Windows 8 Style" now. Best explanation I've seen is that Microsoft failed to do a trademark search and another company with the Metro trademark has forced Microsoft to back-track on the name

I dislike the new layout! We're becoming a dashboard society. We get bigger monitors so we can have a dashboard on every side of the monitor and a very small space to do any work.
The spacing is great if you're over 50 and your eyes are shot, but I need to get more done. Put the content back in a smaller space, I don't want to scroll!

I'd call it a fail. There is too much whitespace and fewer cues to see how things are separated, 'hot' etc.

I wouldn't call it a complete fail... but having to scroll for the news pretty much sucks

Is their a way to go back to the "old" productive layout?

The only wiki I use is Wikipedia!
Though, I did work at a place before that used a wiki for documentation. I had successfully forgotten that until your poll brought it back up! (...ok I don't actually care about that, but it is interesting how quickly things can be mostly forgotten...)
