How well do your various neighbours look after their cars.
Now do you want them flying over your house?

I have recently started using OneDrive. I am not sure how it works.
I believed the data was stored in the Cloud. Yet there seems to be a folder on my disk drive. whet's up with that?
More importantly, how secure is it? do you know?
Finally, are any of you folks using it yourselves? What do you think of it?

As I use it, I have it installed on several machines. Each machine has a local folder with all the files stored there. there is also a cloud with all the same files in it. When you add a file on one of these machines, it is replicated to the cloud and then the to all the other machines' folders so you end up with a copy of everything everywhere.
Basically the same as DropBox.

Whether it is secure enough depends on your security requirements.
Speaking for myself, definitely would not store anything whose leaking would cause me financial or legal problems. These include state secrets (stolen or otherwise ), anything for which I had to sign an NDA, my personal (or my employer's) IP, etc.

I like how this is your first example. Nice. Something you want to share with the group? International super spy?

It's really related to a Humus recipe. But, you're right - you would be killed.

The name is Pfeffer. Daniel Pfeffer.
The examples were listed in decreasing order of severity of consequences. If I had any state secrets, I certainly wouldn't be advertising them here.

So tell us - where do you post them?*

It syncs your folder to the cloud, basically. As far as security, I mean, I don't think it encrypts what it syncs so if the cloud gets compromised I imagine your files do too, but that's with any cloud so I guess maybe that's not very helpful of me.

Excellent - so all someone needs to do is ransomware the entire cloud. What could happen?

As you are obviously a Mossad agent I guess you've been reading all my state secrets.

All none of them?
For the record - the only connection I have with the Mossad is that my taxes help fund it.
