Way down here, a barrier island south of Long Island (NY), we seem to have about 3" (7-8 cm). Wind, however, was pretty fierce all night and still is.

I haven't opened the door yet - the price for the lucky showing (neither the 8" nor 12" previously predicted until it was almost upon us) is that it is likely to be very wet - the snow broke for rain for a while, then resumed. It may even have a frozen layer (hopefully only on top).

The wind still sounds nice.
