does anyone know of a asp.net control which has a ASP:SELECT with, when a list-item "Other" is selected, allows for a textbox where the user can enter an alternative answer besides the ones listed in the select?

I am having a form with few text-boxes... and a button ..i am displaying ajax calender on button click ..problem is calender is appearing behind the other textboxes....

Use a different calendar control. I'm not sure of the exact reason, but it has nothing to do with AJAX, some popups just appear behind some controls.

How do you tell your calendar to become visible? do you use PopupExteders or PopupControl from AjaxToolkit? if you don't so do it! 
if you had used them and the problem is still there  so I'm not sure but check your page layer if it is absolute.

Dear all.....i have a doubt regarding the remoting that we use. after creating our "RemoteClass" we add its reference to our "RemoteServer" as well as to our "RemoteClient"...now my question is why do we need to do that? i mean if v hav to add its reference then rather then using remoting we can add the "RemoteClass" assembly to GAC n then directly use it in our "RemoteServer" as well as "RemoteCllient". so then why do we use remoting?

i have a site with registration ability. and i have problem,although this part work correctly, but i want to Amelioration the performance.
problem is:
in my site when a user registered a mail contain a activation link sent for him/her. this is for vertifying a mail.
but if a user after 72 houre or 3 days will be deactive system suppose that mail is not valid and remove specific account of that mail.
now i put a button for administrator of site to when clicking on it system call a procedure that do above job.
my ask is :
how can i do it aoutomatically and remove that crazy button.

The file you created is empty, so just pass an empty byte array, I suppose. What are you trying to do ? You didn't actually answer me, you just restated the question.

But, you're creating an EMPTY file, then trying to add it, what's the point of that ?

Looks like the GetFile method is how you create an SPFile from a file on the HDD. Like your empty file.
