I Use Visual Studio 2008 C# Language On Windows Server 2008 and Develop a pocket pc using Windows Mobile 5.0.
This is the Code for Calling Hello World Web Service:

The Error "Could not establish a network connection "

i'm c# and vb.net programmer using visual studio 2010 and microsoft sql server. at the first time, i'm interested in developing windows phone 7.5 application and games, i've downloaded and attached the SDK in my visual studio. however, i heard an issue that Windows Phone 8 will launch soon, looks like i'd better wait until it launched.
nah, while waiting for this new OS, i'm planning to write blackberry application for BB OS 5-7.
is this a good plan or what?
i'm really confuse. 
sorry for long story, but i really really love to learn about mobile programming.

As I understand it, Blackberry has peaked and fading, I'd go for Android or iOS (Apple).
iOS development required a Mac, so the cheap option, unless you have a Mac, is to go Android.
Android is Java, so much of your C# experience is transferable. iOS requires knowledge in Objective C which isn't a big stretch but you would do well to buy a book on the language before diving in.

You are right to an extent . The reason I am saying this is because BB customers are of upper middle class and are ready to pay for good service. If your target is to generate revenue then BB is still the best bet. Rest depends upon your idea. For Android and iOS they are the future specially Android.

Midnight Ahri, the idea is brilliant but you rightly said that windows 8 is going to get launched. I would recommend you to go ahead with your plan to develop app for BB OS 5-7.

actually i develop application not 100% for income.
i have two smartphone here, iPhone 4 and Blackberry 9790.
and a notebook using windows 7.
i don't have android smartphone and macbook.
that's why i choose blackberry first.
but i still don't get what SDK should i use.

You must install Windows Phone 7.5. It's a good start!

Hi guys,
I need one help from you guys, the this is , i have developed one mobile compatible website which is run by mobile only. The same corresponding website also have in the desktop website.For Example when i type my website url in destop browser, that time it will open my desktop website,and second thing the same url which i type in my mobile it will open my mobile website ,the thing is i have two website for the same corresponding url one is desktop website and anothar one is mobile website but url is same.My question is my mobile website i put one option like "VIEW IN : MOBILE / GO TO FULL WEBSITE" So when i click the option "GO TO FULL WEBSITE" . I want open full website but its not done, If any one of known this please guide me how can i access my desktop website from mobile website.

Hi,
I'd like to develop an offline mobile application that runs on all major smartphone (Android, iPhone, Windows etc.). I understand that each smartphone uses their own language (Objective-C, Java, .Net).
Is there a way to code ONCE, then use the same code for all smartphones? If not all, at least the business-logic part of the code?

The issue is not so much the language that is used but the OS on the phone. Even if you could use a single language you still need to compile them into the correct object code for the different phones.

Look and feel is the killer. The UX for each platform is quite different. Your only option is web but your still going to have to compromise on the UX
