I would like to write an article from the point of view of a novice programmer

While writing I thought it might be a good idea to have the code reviewed

I can zip up the project and put it in my Github account

Zipping up the file is perhaps my first challenge

My repo has a odd folder structure to me so knowing which folder to right click to create the zip file

The folder structure is Notebook folder under that .vs folder and under that another Notebook folder
The first Notebook folder contains the Notebook.sln file
I am guessing that I should Zip every thing under the second Notebook folder

Project was written with VB using VS 2019
The project has 5 Forms and a Module File
It uses SQLite the DB and Tables are created programmatically
I wanted Spell Checking so I have incorporated a WPF TextBox for that function in the WinForms project
I have commented out the code to include the ability to use WinForms RichTextBox if the user would like an alternative method of Spell Checking
The structure of the project lends itself to managing entries like a Diary that is date oriented

Hi,
I had written an article about a C# problem statement and it was submitted on 13th Aug. Later sometime I received a mail saying it was rejected and now I am unable to find that article. WHere do I find it? Is there any link or pointers ? If it gets deleted once its rejected then pretty poor quality of managing the articles

Because the article is closed you have to look at the revisions. I actually don't know if this intended or not, this is just the way I've learned to find it.

Posted this Tip some time ago. But one image is not showing(Previously, 2nd image also not showing & somehow it came in next update). I tried multiple times & don't want to increase revision count. Somebody please fix it. Thanks in advance!

You're also going to need to provide a lot more information than you have here if you want anyone to be able to help you.

You need to add your own information to the final two sections of the article, removing the boilerplate text. The system prevents publication until you do.

You also need to add the code, and accompanying explanations, that details what your article is about. As it stands your article is far from complete.

How do you mark an answer to a question as Accepted vs Rejected?

I asked a JavaScript question, and I received answers from two different people. The first person's solution did not work. The second person's solution worked perfectly.

For each person, I wrote a cordial message of appreciation, but I want to mark the first one as Rejected as a solution and mark the second one as Accepted. The issue I'm facing is "Accept" and "Reject" are action verbs. So the buttons that say Accept and Reject convey to me that they will Accept or Reject the solution respectively. But if I click the green Accept, it instantly changes to a red Reject button. Likewise if I click the red Reject button, it instantly becomes a nice green Accept button. The result is the good answer has a big danger-colored marker over it, and the bad answer has a nice success-colored marker over it.

To me, it's confusing and I can't be sure whether they are marked correctly. Do I go by the color adorning the solution, or do I go by the action the button proposes to submit, as they are opposite?

An answer without "mark" has white background and you should only see the "accept solution" button.

Once accepted the title background gets green and the question gets the "V" in the list of questions to say, it has been solved.

The red "reject solution" button should only be visible in accepted solutions just in case you change your mind later

There's a .NET Framework[^] category, but not a .NET Core one that I can see.
