Hello!
I am trying to update my article, but for some reason always get this error message:
Too many tags. There is a limit of 8.
This never happened before. I tried to reduce the number of tags to 6, but still get this error. Can you please suggest?

Which article?
"Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana."

Did you have a chance to look at this issue? I am still unable to update the article.

Can somebody please take a look? I am unable to make any updates to the article.

I was able to post a change. If you'd like, you can email me (sean@codeproject.com) the modified HTML[^] and I can apply it

Thank you! Do you know what was the problem? It is kind of inconvenient if I will have to send you the HTML every time I want to update the article.

I actually wonder if it was a temporary problem and you might be able to update the article yourself.

I am planning to make another update soon. Hopefully it will work then. Otherwise I will let you know.
Thank you for your help!

Hi Sean!
I just tried to update the article and the problem is still present - I still see the same error message any time I hit Publish...
|
|
|
|
|
Bizarre ... I have made the publish on your behalf.
Thanks,

Thank you. Though it is certainly quite unfortunate if I now have to ask you every time to update the article.

@sean-ewington
I am trying to update my article and there is the same issue again - Too many tags. There is a limit of 8.
Could you please take a look?

Sure thing! Which article are you trying to update?

So strange. I was able to submit the draft. Are you done with the update?

Yes, I see the article has been updated - thank you!
I don't know what is going on with the tags error. I am planning to write a new article soon - will see if it will work for the new one.

Done. This has happened with a couple of other members so I'm hoping it will help the dev team track the issue down.

Thanks!
Yes, that would be really nice if they fixed that. It's been happening for a while now.

I tried to update the article and the problem is still there. Could you please help if possible?

Thanks for reaching out. I've pushed the article update through. Please let me know if anything is amiss.

Thank you!
It would be really nice if this issue was fixed - I've been hitting it for quite a while. I think there may be some tags associated with the article stored in the database that are not shown on the page, which could explain why it complains.

I've re-reported the issue to the dev team, hopefully they are able to uncover the root of the error.
