I use it.

Suppose you have
C++
unordered_map<string, int> um{ {"foo", 1}, {"goo", 2}, {"boo",42}};


I find
C++
for (const auto & p : um)
{
  cout << p.first << ", " << p.second << "\n";
}


'somewhat simpler' when compared to
C++
for (const pair<string, int> & p : um)
{
  cout << p.first << ", " << p.second << "\n";
}



Maybe I am used to it.
