Only the OP knows exactly what he wants to achieve. If it's to use C++ to rapidly build UI software then my advice might point him in a helpful direction. Insulting him and me helps no one.

Reason for my vote of 5 \n Would like to hear more about the code generator.
Interop with a C/C lib is unlikely to provide better performance, I tried this in my parallelism article.
Your delegate usage is better than my hard coded version ;)

Reason for my vote of 3 \n I was going to give you 5 but, I can't help but think that you'd find it easier to build this with Rx or StreamInsight. If you can argue otherwise and I can modify my vote then I will :)
