A retail solution that is already in SaaS format and other is on-premise security suite that needs to be integrated with. Security solution handles client authentication and authorization. Does it make any sense..

In my point of view, integration is just like any other desktop application, as I have APIs available. The difference would be the “Web”. As the application will be hosted on web, please correct me if I am wrong, and the tool and technologies I am looking for, can be WCF for communication and asp.net with silver light flavor. But the main thing is that I want to make application less coupled there should be room to change the on-premise application with any other when required. And resulting integrated application will be a SaaS application. please suggest your idea.
