Aha. That actually explains a lot.
I have SE 8 but maybe my instructor has SE 6 or something.
If that is the case, that would explain why he marked it as failing to run.

You make a good point.
In the actual assignment, the possible inputs were simple enough to case-sensitivity irrelevant but I would normally put them in.
Since the code I submitted for the assignment actually ran correctly, though, I'm really trying to figure out what was not acceptable about it--like did I break some crucial rule of Java or something.
(BTW, I don't do Java either. Only for this required class)

I certainly agree about there being a better way to do validation. I also agree that assigning the string to a variable would have probably been a better deal.
However, my biggest question is why what I did was wrong (not just "not the best").

The context is that we were validating user input, and, instead of using a series of "if's", I used a single switch.

I believe what I found was for x64 so WinXP wouldn't work. Is your Win7 x32 or x64?

Yes, that's exactly what I meant.
I have, however, figured it out now. I detailed what I did in the solution I posted.
I do want to thank you, though, for pointing me in the right direction. You showed me that I wasn't really off my rocker like I thought I was :)

I had previously held such a theory but have not yet gotten the right effect.
More background: my pictures are being made into ARGB byte arrays.
Here's what it looks like with red and blue swapped and leaving A and G in place:

I'll try to point you in the right direction.
Do you have the SDK for the ZK7500?
If not here is a link I found at least for x64:

As much as I want to help, I'm sorry i have absolutely no idea where to start.
I too tried googling a few things and came up empty.
I hope someone else can help you.

Thanks for the extra info.
I believe that I'll try to experiment for a little while before posting a new question. However, if I do post again, you are more than welcome to help.
Thank you also for the critique. I think that will help me.

I'm sorry.

Ok. Thanks for the solution.
Although, please suggest if there is a better way to learn than to search online. I was just doing what most people ask for.

The key is not the quote. The key is how to detect what is closing it.
I'm expecting people who know how to do this to respond with their knowledge.

I was trying to create a sample project to take a look at your problem but I'm getting 200+ errors from all over the codebehind. I'm not fluent in C# (VB.NET is my thing). If there was a way you could post project files online, I can check them out for you.

I would accept your answer but it doesn't answer enough of my question to let me move on. I still need to figure out which version of .net among other things (please refer to question).
I don't mean to offend you by not marking you as the answer. Maybe I should just create a new question with one less aspect.

There's really two reasons I want nginx (no, I don't really need it)
1. Fast always sounds nice, even if it won't benifit me much with a small site
2. I don't really like Apache having such a market share when there are other great servers out there.
So really it's just preference.

I don't quite understand what's supposed to happen. I see that you are trying to get active users, but I didn't look at the code long enough to see what you're trying to have happen. Can you come back and explain more?

ASP.NET is for creating web pages and not tracking them. You should recategorize your question.
Also, I, with my limited knowledge, do not know how to do this with VB.NET (which I am familiar with) or C#. There may be a way, but I don't know it.

I admit that it would be easier if you simply explained the problem, but I think I see your point. Are you trying to just do simple math and carry answers from one box to another? If so, this should be easy.

I appreciate the help but I don't understand yet what exactly I should be changing. As far as the code not being good, I pieced together this code from a couple of other places so I'm not very good at understanding it. Code samples (preferably in vb.net) would be very helpful to me.
